Referral and Booking Process.

Medical Professionals

To refer your patient to Rethink Psychology, complete the Rethink GP Referral Form. Alternatively, you can email a letter or the client’s MHTP directly to our email address admin@rethinkpsychology.com.au.

Self-Referrals

If you are not eligible for Medicare benefits, you do not need a referral. You can book immediately by contacting us via phone, email, or the ‘Book Now’ button above. Without a Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plan you will be liable for the full cost of the therapy session. If you are eligible for Medicare benefits, speak to your GP about obtaining a Mental Health Treatment Plan. You may be able to receive a Medicare refund for a part of the therapy session fee.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

NDIS participants who are plan-managed or self-managed can access therapy and assessment through Rethink Psychology. To arrange an appointment using your NDIS (Improved Daily Living) funding, call or email us today. Alternatively, if you are referring your NDIS client, complete the Rethink Community Referral Form and email it to admin@rethinkpsychology.com.au.

Child Safety and Other Community Organisations

You can refer your client to Rethink Psychology by completing the Rethink Community Referral Form and emailing it to our email address. Alternatively, contact us via phone or email to discuss the best course of action for your client.
